We hope this is not just a trip to a wedding.
The Piedmont region is a special place in Italy, mainly known for its exquisite wines (Barolo, Barbaresco, Roero, Arneis, and more), rolling hills, and unique cuisine.
The town of Alba is at the heart of the Langhe and Roero, and is the home of such favorites as Nutella, Ferrero chocolates, risotto dishes, and white truffles.
Meanwhile, the rival town of Asti (closer to our venue!) is the centerpiece of the Monferrato Hills and is the birthplace of well-known wines such as Barbera d'Asti, Moscato d'Asti, and Nizza.
Both of these large towns offer picturesque architecture and wonderful cafes. The surrounding area includes many quaint villages to visit and activities that we discuss below. We recommend you immerse yourselves in everything this UNESCO World Heritage site has to offer and eat/drink to your heart's desire!
Make your time in Italy exceptional.
Here are some of our favorite eateries, wineries, and towns nearby.

Truffle Hunting
Some of the best black and white truffles in the world come from Italy’s Piedmont, so why not find some yourself? Given the time of year, you should be able to find some summer black truffles with the help of a truffle hunt guide!
Please reach out to your hotel to book if they have a preferred vendor or reach out to Langhe Experience.

Guided Wine Tours
The ~20,000 wineries around the Piedmont crank out 3 million hectoliters of the delicious fermented grape juice annually.
Delegate a DD and explore yourself through a few of our recommendations under Wine and Spirits above, or book an experience through your hotel, One On the Hill, or Langhe Experience.

Bike Tours
The rolling hills of the Piedmont offer a scenic backdrop for visitors, and there is no better way to experience the area firsthand than by renting a regular bike or an e-bike.
Ask your accommodation host about the best option for bike rentals. Some hotels have bikes available for guests. You can also rent through Mon Bike Tour.
